While the song wasn’t made too long ago, I had, recently, been browsing around YouTube, and stumbled across this video again and remembered when it was becoming a big hit back in early 2006(although it seems that it wasn’t as big a hit as I thought). After being advertised on Grey’s Anatomy, which is a great show, but has an even better knack for finding great artists.
While this isn’t the official music video and has not-as-great quality, this video always seemed like it had more soul to it than the official one, so here it is:

Along with the other series here is another one I’ll be doing.
Here’s how it goes: I will choose a album every couple of days, and you (the reader), can say a) what tracks you’d take away from the album to make it better, and/or b) what order you would put the tracks in, to make overall album better. Also, you can’t add tracks off of different albums from an artist and make sure to state your reasoning for the way you listed/detracted the tracks. ;D
The album for today is Shania Twain’s 1995 The Woman In Me.
Track Listing
1. Home Ain’t Where His Heart Is (Anymore)
2. Any Man Of Mine
3. Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?
4. (If You’re Not In It For Love) I’m Outta Here!
5. The Woman In Me (Needs The Man In You)
6. Is There Life After Love?
7. If It Don’t Take Two
8. You Win My Love
9. Raining On Our Love
10. Leaving Is The Only Way Out
11. No One Needs To Know
12. God Bless The Child
My Mix
1. Any Man Of Mine
2. If You’re Not In It For Love (I’m Outta Here)
3. The Woman In Me (Needs The Man In You)
4. You Win My Love
5. If It Don’t Take Two
6. Home Ain’t Where His Heart Is (Anymore)
7. Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?
8. Leaving Is The Only Way Out
9. Is There Life After Love?
10. God Bless The Child
11. No One Needs To Know
The album is already a masterpiece as it is, but if I were a producer(one can dream :D), an alternate way I might have done the album, would be to try and make it a more concept storytelling album. With each song kinda going through the narrators struggles through love. I did take out Raining On Our Love, not because it was bad, but just because it didn’t seem to fit well with the rest of the order I had made it.
Now it’s your turn, so post away ;)
